Breathwork
Breath is the one part of the nervous system you can steer.
Each session is guided by me. Start with First Breath, a short free taster, or choose a longer practice built around one intention: Gratitude, Connection, Courage or Letting Go. You breathe in rhythm with music, move through cycles of breathing and gentle breath holds, and finish in stillness. Many people notice a shift in energy, mood and clarity within a single session.
New to breathwork? Please read Breathe with care below before your first session.

The method
The sessions are grounded in SOMA Breath, a structured method combining rhythmic breathing, breath retention, visualisation and music. It draws on traditional pranayama and has been the subject of scientific research into its effects. I am a certified SOMA® Breath Advanced Instructor.

Breathe with care
The practice is gentle and safe for most people. Some conditions call for care, so please read the safety notice before your first session.
Please skip the breath holds if any of these apply to you:
- Recent surgery
- Epilepsy
- Third-trimester pregnancy
- Serious heart conditions (such as a pacemaker, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a recent heart attack)
Listen to your body, ease off whenever you need to, and skip the breath holds at any time. Always practise seated or lying down, never in water and never while driving.
Breathwork can sometimes bring up emotions or memories. If you have past or current concerns about your mental health, please consult your doctor or therapist before taking part.
These sessions are not a substitute for medical advice. If you have questions about your health or a medical condition, please speak to your doctor or another qualified health professional, or write to me before starting.
